About

Noverridge is an index of eleven hotels, sorted into four sections. Art hotels. Capsule hotels. Casino hotels. Ice hotels.

The sections are deliberately narrow. Each one describes a specific kind of stay, and each entry tries to explain what that stay is actually like: the building, the setting, what sits around the room and who it suits.

How entries are written

Every hotel gets a short piece of prose. We avoid spec sheets, star counts and scores. Facts are kept general and checkable, such as when a building opened, where it stands and what it contains.

Hotels do not pay to appear, and nothing here is sponsored. There are no affiliate links in the entries.

What this site is not

It is not a booking service. We do not sell rooms, hold availability or quote rates. When you are ready to plan a stay, go to the hotel directly.

Keeping it current

Hotels renovate, rebrand and occasionally close. When we learn that an entry has drifted from the facts, we revise it. If you spot something, the contact page explains how to tell us.
